Mouse Flow! Listen, if you want to get good results from your site, you are going to need to know how your users behave on it. I know that we all like to think that our site is the best. Hell, it might be true, but there are always things that can be improved. For the most part, I feel that you will need some kind of tool to help you find all of the things that make your website good and all the things that need to be improved. A tool like that that I have found which does the job well for free but also for a great price in some of its plans is a little online service for that stuff called Mouseflow.

Analyze user experience of your website

Mouseflow.com really dives deep into how users operate on your site. They look at everything from the way you scroll, to where you hover on the website with your mouse, to even things like clicks, auto-fills, typing, etc. All of these things are fucking brilliant for your website since you will be able to see the exact points in which your site performs well or in which it performs poorly as well. All of these things are presented to you on Mouseflow, and you can expect a lot from this tool when it comes to finding out all that there is to know about your site and how well it does in the eyes of your users.

Who knows, you might find out that people just aren’t interested in scrolling so far on the website and they would rather just have something completely different. So, if you don’t want to be abandoned by all your users because you don’t get rid of the things that they don’t like, and because you do not add things that they do like, then you are going to need to do a bit of analyzing to get all that data that you will need when changing shit on the platform. Mouseflow allows you to find out all of these details and it allows you to mine all the data from some amazing analysis about your site and how people use it.

Start off by using their free plan

One thing that I like about sites is that they will very often these days allow you to try their services for free. Mouseflow is no exception to this rule, and it has many features to offer without you having to pay for anything. All these features are great to learn how to do, even for free, since the only thing that changes when you get a better plan is that Mouseflow.com allows you to have a heavier workload. This is great if you are a business with many sessions on your site, but otherwise, you might even be able to get by with just the free version. I’ll go over the free version now and then tell you about other plans.

The free version of Mouseflow allows you to create 500 recordings per month selected from unlimited pageviews. You can use it for one website and it gives you a month of storage, so you need to work fast and around the clock to get all the info that you need. All that analyzing is going to be difficult with such a short timespan, but I get why it has to be this way. After all, they are providing you with a free service here, so they aren’t really getting anything out of you when you get the free plan. And yes, you can use this free plan forever without paying a single penny! I don’t think you can get a better deal than that.

Plenty of features for improving UX

But there are also some paid plans. The Starter plan will cost you 24 euros a month if you get the annual commitment. The monthly price for the Starter plan jumps up to 29 euros. Then you have the Growth plan with a similar story with the annual plan being 79 euros a month and the monthly one jumping up to 99 euros. The Business plan is probably as high as I would go, and it costs 159 or 199 euros each month depending on whether you get the annual or monthly plan. The Pro one varies between 299 euros and 399 euros too. Each of these plans allows for more and more page recordings every month and you can use Mouseflow on more websites and get longer storage for all those files.

When I look at all these plans, I feel that the Business one would be great for some of the bigger porn sites. The other ones seem like a good idea if you are still trying to break through on the porn market, since that can be pretty hard considering how many different porn sites there are out there that are trying to make a name for themselves. But if you concentrate on the features that Mouseflow.com will provide you with, then you might be able to create a superior user experience to what all the other porn sites are doing, and this can really make your name stand out on a map.

Session replays, heatmaps, funnels, forms, feedback

Here are only some of the features that you can expect to find here. There’s the Session Replay, which allows you to track clicks, mouse movement, scrolls, form completion, and much more than that. The recordings are anonymized, which makes them GDPR-friendly and all of that eliminates guesswork so that you can take action to get your website back on track. Finding any of these specific sessions is a breeze with the various filters you can use, which will always point you in the right direction. This site just does a great job giving you the option to watch whichever session replay you want.

Mouseflow.com offers many different heatmaps that you can use to track how your users behave on the site. There are various heatmaps to check out, such as heatmaps for clicks, scrolls, geography, movement, and even attention. With all this activity data you will be able to see which parts of your site are hot, and which ones are not so good. Outside of the heatmaps and the session replays, you also have Funnels. These are basically tracking activity from one page to the next on the website. These funnels are really important when looking at visits, conversions, and page friction.

There are a few downsides too

Finally, you have forms and feedback, which is worth a fuckton to you. Trust me; if you can get your users to give you feedback on your site directly, then you can basically write off half of the problems that you might experience on a regular basis with users and how they operate on the website. The invaluable info can help launch your site into becoming one of the main places people go to when they are in need of any kind of porn. If that is the kind of thing that you want, then you can expect to get it from Mouseflow and on the plus side, you can just test these features out before buying the damn thing to test it all out.

Now, you can also check out the live demo, but to be honest with you, it seems a bit choppy when it’s playing back the recording and this could just be because it’s a test, but it could also be pretty close to the end product that you will be getting out of Mouseflow. I also don’t like the fact that the monthly prices can be so radically more expensive. I don’t like getting into a mandatory annual plan, so I would like it if I could choose a monthly plan without getting a fist shoved up my ass. Cause that’s what it feels like when I just want to try out a better plan for a month, but I have to pay like 30% more and shit.
